Message from Headteacher
Holy Trinity is a small, caring, Church of England school, with a strong commitment to the teaching of Christianity alongside a multi-faith approach to the curriculum. We recognise and value the linguistic and cultural diversity which exists in our school. The Christian ethos of the school is reflected in a nurturing, positive atmosphere.
We believe that effective learning takes place when children can work in a calm, purposeful and stimulating environment. We have high aspirations for all of our pupils and staff and aim for high academic standards, as well as nurturing children’s social development. We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting school and work within a behaviour framework of developing an understanding of rights respecting behaviour both within school and without.
Our overall aim is to enable each child to develop to his/her full potential, irrespective of age, background or ability. We do this through an inclusive, personalised curriculum that is broad, balanced, relevant and responsive to the needs of all our children. Children are taught individually, in groups and as a class. We aim to allow children to become independent, self-confident and self-motivated learners so they are ready and prepared to take on the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing global environment.
Mrs L Hall
